Orofacial Myofunctional concerns

  • Tongue thrust • Lip incompetence

  • Incorrect tongue resting posture • Low tongue tone

  • Mouth breathing • Poor muscle coordination

  • Open-mouth posture
Our therapists are trained in the Orofacial Myology protocol.

Feeding concerns

  • Prolonged picky eating • Suspected dysphagia (swallowing difficulty)

Several of our Speech Pathologists are Orofacial Myology trained, working alongside dental and medical teams to assess and retrain the muscles of the face, mouth and tongue — supporting airway, dental alignment, oral habits and orthodontic outcomes.
