Ultimate Health Greystanes is an Allied Health Practice (Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Remedial Massage and Optometry) that provides in clinic and mobile services to children and adults. Our Speech Pathology team provides services in the areas of speech, language/AAC, voice, fluency, literacy, play skills/social skills, dysphagia and fussy eating. One of the best things about working at Ultimate Health Greystanes is variety. Our mixed caseloads and the multiple settings in which we work ensure that our therapists are constantly provided with opportunities to develop their skills across many areas. In a typical day, you could be working at a school, visiting early intervention clients in their homes, presenting to teachers at a high-school or completing dysphagia assessments in a nursing home.

Your Work will include:

As a Speech Pathologist at our clinic, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients of all ages overcome communication challenges and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders

✅ Designing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs

✅ Conducting therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and resources

✅ Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

✅ Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary

✅ Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers

Essential Criteria 

  • Qualification in Speech Pathology. 

  • Current drivers licence and own car 

  • Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to become a member of Speech Pathology Australia. 

  • Current Working with Children Check. 

  • National Police Clearance 

  • NDIS New Worker Screening Check

  • Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or the ability to obtain these before commencing clinical work). 

  • Happy, energetic, caring and positive personality 

  • Commitment to personal and professional quality improvement 

  • Great verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 

  • Highly motivated to achieve positive outcomes for our clients 

  • Show initiative 

  • Able to work independently 

  • Professional & empathetic in your approach 

  • Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in computer applications 

  • Understanding of quality activities, WHS and infection control policies 

Desirable Criteria 

  • Ideally 1+ years of paediatric and adult Speech Pathology experience, however, new grads are welcome to apply 

  • Supervision opportunities for more experienced therapists 

  • Have experience working with children and adults with a disability or autism 

  • Registered with Medicare, Provider no. at commencement
